Closed Wish since it's unlikely that I'll ever write more Buffy/Giles fan fiction. I've moved the stories hosted there to Darker with the Day, and I've also added my friend Kim's Buffy/Angel-verse stories to the site. Be sure to check her stuff out. She writes an awesome Faith.

Funny, I don't remember planning a hiatus... Anyway, I apologize for neglecting all my sites these past few months. Spring quarter was a killer, but hey, I now have a Bachelor's in hand, so it was worth it. Anyway, there's several updates to talk about. First is obviously the new layout for the collective. Version 4: Merry & Pippin lasted a hell of a long time (almost 10 months!), but it was time for a change. Of course, having version 5 feature Dominic Monaghan makes this just a small change, but it's a change nonetheless (for the uninformed, Dominic Monaghan portrays Merry in the Lord of the Rings film trilogy and is a simply marvelous and hilarious guy who loves the Stone Roses even more than I -- hence the combination). I added and fixed stuff all over the place, so look around. I have 2 new affiliates: Lori of fragile-sanity.org and Hope of delusional-youth.net. I added over a dozen new Merry and Pippin recs to Second Breakfasts. There's two new wallpapers at Cellophane Flowers -- one of Catherine Zeta-Jones and the other of Dominic Monaghan (which happens to be the inspiration for this layout). I added many new members to YGTHYLA and Dark Horse. I also fixed dead links and made little, mostly meaningless changes over at Wish and Darker with the Day.

Next up: MASSIVE updates to Hobbits Who Play Together... I did go on a planned hiatus from LotR RPS this spring -- and now I have 300+ selected stories to read. And you know that a good portion of those will end up being rec'd...

And after that: Updates to PostVainglory and new layouts for Cellophane Flowers and Dark Horse.

Long time, no update. Sorry about that.

Earlier this month, I launched a new site called Second Breakfasts, a Merry and Pippin fan fiction recommendation site. I rec both slash and gen there, but be aware that the gen often has a slash-bent to it and I don't differentiate the slash from the gen. I've added one new wallpaper to Cellophane Flowers, and I'm currently working on new layouts for Dark Horse and YGTHYLA. I'll be updating the member lists very soon.

In addition, due to lack of interest, I have put Here Today on an indefinite hiatus, and due to lack of talent, I have closed Duets.

We're one! We're one! And there's a new layout (finally) to celebrate. Version 4 features a manipulation I did of my newest slash obsession -- Merry/Pippin. Please no 'Ew! Ew! They're cousins! First cousins even! And, ew, worse yet -- they're Hobbits' comments, okay? This layout will definitely be lasting past the opening of TTT in December, which is good because I'm going to be busybusybusy all fall. Two new affiliates have been added [Cali of Kissing You and Bruna of Radioactive Feather], and I've done a little tweaking to various things on the main site. Expect updates to YGTHYLA, Dark Horse, and Cellophane Flowers in a couple of days.

The following isn't an update, but it is really cool: Last Wednesday (the 24th) I got to see Adam Busch and Eric Kufs of Common Rotation open for They Might Be Giants and, God, it was such an amazing night. I won't go into details here (you can read about it here and here in my LJ), but if you ever get a chance to see Common Ro, do. I was a fan before the show, but I'm even more of one now. And like I've been saying everywhere: Adam Busch is a sweetheart. Truly.

God, it's been a very long time since I've updated. Sorry about that guys. First, if you submitted a form for YGTHYLA between April 28 and May 28 (and there were a lot of you), please re-submit. Due to laptop troubles, I lost my last update for the site before I could upload it (I've added 14 new members, and if you don't see your name in the members list, please re-submit). I'm also proud to present Dark Horse: The George Harrison Fanlisting, my newest site. And, yes, I know it matches this site very much. That's a long, complicated story that is neither here nor there. Just join if you're a George-fan. There's also a "new" (a month+ old) wallpaper over at Cellophane Flowers and my journal has a new layout and a new name: Grotesque Vainglory (heh). I'm also writing again, so expect a Warren/Andrew (yes, W/A is my newest obsession, and, hey, it's canon) story over at Darker with the Day in the near future. God willing.

Eek! It's been almost a month, so there's a lot of stuff. New layout (obviously), 8 new wallpapers at Cellophane Flowers (4 The Godfather, 2 Eliza Dushku, 1 Charisma Carpenter, 1 Faith/Cordelia), new members to YGTHYLA, and a new affiliate -- Icebaby Productions. Also, while working on the layout I added more objects under each category in the loves section (with the exception of art -- need to find more amazing artists). Updated the vinyl list, made more banners than anyone would need, and changed things here and there. Just take a look around, okay?
